“Head in the clouds” is a metaphor, which Julie Paskal translates into her SS18 collection. It is a notice fler of her own character, of the special moment when she evokes her inner child and doesn't allow any external issues to bother her. Clouds become the main shape of the collection as seen in laser-cut appliques and the garments' shapes. Colour palette of the collection is inspired by the marmalade shades of sky: tranquil turquoise, juicy green, sunset pink and white are replaced by black and midnight blue. A range of fabrics have different weights to bring a peculiar narrative to the collection - weightless neoprene mesh layers with soft cottons gravitates to the heavy tech-crepe.
